Planting the first seed....
Writing the first or creating the first page of my bullet journal was difficult or I thought about it too much because I wanted the first page to be perfect. But then I realized that other designs that I wanted to do or I had planned to do previously I could do it the next month which is what’s so good about a bullet journal. Your ideas can be shown throughout different months and it doesn’t have to be in the same month. I decided to organize my bullet journal by years which is why the first page is starting with 2020. I found the design above from Pinterest and it was very helpful because it gave me an idea of a possible theme that I could do for the month of September. September is one of the trickiest months because it is in between the end of summer (missing summer :() and the beginning of fall. These seasons can be seen as two different color schemes but can be blended using more neutral colors. This design gave me an idea to have a theme of flowers in neutral colors. In addition it is important to play around with Fonts because they can be a part of your design as well it doesn’t only have to be an object or a person that you draw and said it could be little details in your writing. I was really happy on how it turned out because it was my first time doing this type of mine as well as my official first page of my bullet journal. Everything was still in the learning phase but that’s OK because that’s what makes it so fun and so addicting Ha Ha Ha. In case you were wondering, for the colors I used a mid liner dual highlighter/pen and for the black calligraphy I used a extra fine Precise V5 pen with a fine tip. Using a fine tip is extremely useful when you are outlining or even writing regularly because it is very precise however it is liquid so it smudges if you don’t let it dry!
